Sarah completed her BSc Psychology at the University of Hull in 2001 and continued directly to Cardiff University to undertake her MSc in Occupational Psychology. After completing this in 2002 she joined Hays Specialist Recruitment in South Wales in their well-established Accountancy & Finance division.

In early 2004 Sarah moved to Bristol to join the newly formed Purchasing and Supply division to open their Bristol office covering the South West of England. In her time with Hays, Sarah was involved in temporary and permanent recruitment from entry-level positions through to senior appointments, and worked across the public and private sectors latterly specialising in service industries including financial services, retail, insurance, utilities and telecoms.
