After graduating in Psychology at the University of Birmingham, Rowan undertook a PhD in Occupational Psychology, focusing on individual and organisational learning at Sheffield University's Institute of Work Psychology.

Before joining Kaisen she worked as a Training and Development Consultant in the motor industry. She has a special interest in organisational change and has consulted internationally in a wide range of sectors including engineering, telecoms, retail and financial services.
