After graduating in Psychology from Southampton University, she initially worked in Japan as an English teacher. Following a period of travel in the Asia Pacific region she joined Boots Plc, initially focusing on recruitment, selection, assessment and HR policy development for Boots the Chemist. She then joined the global research and marketing business unit Boots Healthcare International where she specialised in graduate recruitment and international personnel issues. Most latterly, as an internal HR consultant for Boots Opticians, she was responsible for the HR strategy for the west region, with particular emphasis on organisational change and management development. She undertook an MSc in Occupational Psychology at the University of Wales, Cardiff before joining Kaisen.
